It helps reduce LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and increase HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.
How it Works:
Atorvastatin belongs to the statin class of drugs, which inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. This reduces LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and plaque formation in arteries.
Dosage:
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, with or without food.
How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Preferably take it at the same time each day for consistent effect.
