Uses:
ATORlip 5 Tablet is prescribed for:

• Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol)

• Mixed dyslipidemia (high triglycerides and cholesterol)

• Prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients
  It helps reduce LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and increase HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.

How it Works:
Atorvastatin belongs to the statin class of drugs, which inhibit HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver. This reduces LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and plaque formation in arteries.

Dosage:
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, with or without food.

How to Use:
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Preferably take it at the same time each day for consistent effect.

Precautions:

• Avoid use if you have active liver disease or known allergy to statins

• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding

• Limit alcohol intake

• Regular monitoring of liver function and lipid profile is recommended

Side Effects:
