Brand: Leeford Healthcare Ltd
Description
Atorniz-C Tablet/Capsule is a three-drug combination used for strong protection against heart attack, stroke, and vascular events in high-risk patients—such as those with established heart disease, previous angioplasty/bypass, diabetes, or multiple cardiac risk factors.
How it Works / Key Benefits
-
Atorvastatin (Statin): Lowers LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and total cholesterol, raises HDL, and reduces triglycerides by inhibiting hepatic cholesterol synthesis; also helps stabilize plaques in blood vessels and has anti-inflammatory effects.
-
Clopidogrel (Antiplatelet): Blocks platelets from clumping together, thus reducing risk of blood clot formation inside arteries.
-
Aspirin (Antiplatelet): Irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase, blocking platelet aggregation and further reducing clot risk; its enteric coating protects the stomach from direct irritation.
-
The triple combination offers powerful dual antiplatelet effect plus aggressive lipid management to maximize cardiovascular event prevention.
Uses / Indications
-
Secondary prevention of heart attack and stroke in patients with atherosclerotic heart or vascular disease
-
After stenting, angioplasty, or coronary bypass surgery
-
In diabetics or those with high cholesterol and high risk for cardiovascular events
