Dosage

Dose depends on child’s age and body weight.

Usually given once daily for 3–5 days, as prescribed.

Dissolves quickly in water—easy for kids to take.
How to Use

Place the tablet in a spoonful of water to dissolve, then give immediately.

Can also be swallowed whole if the child can do so safely.

Give with food if stomach upset occurs.

Ensure the child completes the full course.
Precautions

Do not use if allergic to azithromycin or other macrolides.

Inform doctor if child has liver issues or heart rhythm problems.

Avoid giving antacids containing aluminum/magnesium near the dose.

Not for viral infections like cold/flu.
