Description
Aztor EZ Tablet is a prescription medicine manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. It combines two medicines that work together to control cholesterol levels:
-
Atorvastatin (10mg): A statin that lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides while increasing good cholesterol (HDL) by reducing cholesterol production in the liver.
-
Ezetimibe (10mg): A cholesterol absorption inhibitor that blocks the absorption of dietary cholesterol from the intestine.
The combination effectively lowers overall cholesterol levels and is prescribed for patients who need enhanced lipid-lowering therapy, especially if statin therapy alone is insufficient.
