Description

Bendex Suspension 10ml is an anthelmintic (anti-worm) medicine from Cipla Ltd., formulated especially for children and individuals who have difficulty swallowing tablets. It contains Albendazole 200mg per 10ml, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug that helps eliminate different types of intestinal and tissue worms.

Albendazole works by inhibiting glucose uptake in worms, leading to energy depletion, paralysis, and death of the parasites. The body then naturally expels them through stools. By removing worms, it improves nutrition absorption, growth, and overall health in children.

Uses of Bendex Suspension

• Treatment of roundworms, pinworms, hookworms, and whipworms

• Management of giardiasis (infection caused by Giardia lamblia)

• Treatment of tapeworm infections such as neurocysticercosis and hydatid disease

• Relief from symptoms caused by worm infestation – such as abdominal pain, itching around anus, loss of appetite, weight loss, and weakness

Dosage & Administration

• Children (2–12 years): Usually single dose of 200mg (10ml) for intestinal worms.

• Adults & Children above 2 years: Dose may vary depending on infection type (doctor’s prescription required).
