It contains Budesonide, which helps reduce inflammation, irritation, and swelling in the airways, making it easier to breathe. Long-term treatment and prevention of asthma symptoms
-
Management of COPD and other chronic lung diseases
-
Reduces airway inflammation and prevents asthma attacks
How to Use:
BUDEcort 400 Rotacap should be used only with a Rotahaler device. Do not swallow the capsule. Insert the Rotacap into the Rotahaler, inhale deeply through your mouth, hold your breath for a few seconds, and exhale slowly. Rinse your mouth with water after each use to prevent oral fungal infection (thrush) or throat irritation.
Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is one Rotacap twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Do not exceed the prescribed dose and do not stop using the medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.
Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, liver disease, diabetes, infections, or osteoporosis. Avoid contact with people who have contagious infections such as chickenpox or measles. This medicine is not for emergency asthma relief — use a rescue inhaler for sudden breathing difficulties. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use it only under medical supervision.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, dry mouth, and oral thrush (fungal infection). Rinsing your mouth after each use helps reduce these effects. Seek medical attention if you experience worsening breathing, chest tightness, or allergic reactions.
