Description

BUDEcort 50mcg Inhaler is a corticosteroid inhaler used for the prevention and control of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Budesonide, which works by reducing inflammation and swelling in the airways, making breathing easier. Regular use helps prevent asthma attacks and manage long-term respiratory symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and breathlessness.

How to Use:
Shake the inhaler well before use. Exhale fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and press the inhaler once while inhaling deeply and slowly. Hold your breath for a few seconds before exhaling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly after each use to prevent irritation or fungal infection (oral thrush). Use the inhaler at the same time daily as prescribed by your doctor.

Dosage:
The recommended dosage varies depending on the patient’s age and condition, typically 1–2 inhalations twice daily or as advised by your physician. Do not stop using suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, infections, liver disease, or osteoporosis. Avoid contact with people having contagious infections like chickenpox or measles. Not suitable for immediate relief of acute asthma attacks — use a rescue inhaler for emergencies. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include throat irritation, cough, hoarseness, dry mouth, and oral thrush (fungal infection). Rinsing your mouth after each use helps prevent side effects. Seek medical attention if you experience worsening breathing problems or allergic reactions.
