CEFIX 100 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine from Cipla Ltd., containing Cefixime 100 mg. It belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics (third generation) and is widely prescribed to treat various bacterial infections. Doctors recommend it for respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections (UTIs), ear infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and typhoid fever.

Cefixime works by inhibiting the formation of bacterial cell walls, thereby killing the bacteria and stopping their spread. This helps relieve infection-related symptoms like fever, sore throat, cough, pain, or burning urination and promotes faster recovery.
