Cefolac CV 100 DT Tablet

Description

Cefolac CV 100 DT Tablet is a combination antibiotic containing Cefixime (a third-generation cephalosporin) and Clavulanic Acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). It is mainly prescribed to treat resistant bacterial infections, particularly in children and adults who prefer a dispersible tablet form.

Uses / Indications:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis)

• Ear, nose, and throat infections (otitis media, tonsillitis, pharyngitis)

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Certain gastrointestinal infections

Benefits:

• Cefixime kills bacteria by interfering with cell wall synthesis.

• Clavulanic Acid protects Cefixime from being broken down by beta-lactamase enzymes, enhancing its effectiveness.
