CIFRAN-OZ Tablet

Description

Uses:

• Treats mixed bacterial and protozoal infections

• Ciprofloxacin targets bacterial infections

• Ornidazole treats protozoal infections and anaerobic bacteria

• Commonly used for gastrointestinal infections, diarrhea, dysentery, and food poisoning

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet twice daily, or as prescribed by the doctor

• Dose depends on type and severity of infection

• Complete the full course even if symptoms improve

How to use:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water

• Can be taken with or without food

• Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 3 days after finishing Ornidazole

• Take at evenly spaced intervals

Precautions:

• Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed

• Use cautiously in kidney or liver disease

• May increase sensitivity to sunlight — avoid direct sun exposure

• Inform doctor if you have heart rhythm problems

• Do not drive or operate machinery if dizzy or drowsy

Side effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

• Stomach pain or discomfort

• Dizziness or headache

• Metallic taste in mouth

• Rare: tendon rupture, nerve problems, or allergic reactions
