Description

CIPMOL-500 Tablet is a widely prescribed analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) suitable for most age groups and common pain or fever situations.

Uses / Indications

• Fever reduction (all causes, including infection, post-vaccination, viral illness).

• Mild to moderate pain relief: Headache, migraine, toothache, sore throat, backache, muscle & joint pain, menstrual cramps, mild arthritis, soft tissue injury, and after minor surgery or dental procedures.

• Colds and flu: To relieve aches and temperature.

How it Works / Key Benefits

• Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the brain, reducing pain signals and fever responses.

• Fast-acting, gentle on the stomach, and generally well-tolerated for most people.

Dosage & Administration

• Usual adult dose: 500 mg to 1000 mg (1–2 tablets) per dose, not exceeding four doses (2000–4000 mg) in 24 hours.

• Doses should be spaced by at least 4 hours; do not double up if a dose is missed.

• Swallow with water, with or without food; can be safely used short-term in pregnancy and breastfeeding as per physician advice.

• Never combine with other paracetamol-containing products to avoid overdose and risk of liver damage.

Safety & Side Effects

• Common: Nausea, stomach upset, mild rash, rarely headache or dizziness.

• Serious (rare): Allergic reaction, liver toxicity (in case of overdose or liver disease)—seek medical attention for persistent symptoms or yellowing of skin/eyes.

• Use with caution in liver or kidney conditions, chronic alcoholism, or if allergic to paracetamol.

Note:
CIPMOL-500 is most effective if used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary time. Seek medical advice if pain or fever lasts more than 3 days, or if symptoms are severe.
