Description

CIPMOX CV 625 Tablet is a combination antibiotic manufactured by Cipla Ltd., containing Amoxicillin Trihydrate 500 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg. This combination enhances the effectiveness of Amoxicillin against beta-lactamase producing bacteria, which may otherwise resist standard penicillin therapy.

Amoxicillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, killing susceptible bacteria, while Clavulanic Acid inhibits the enzymes (beta-lactamases) that some bacteria produce to resist antibiotics.
