Description

Uses:
Clopitab-A 75 Capsule is prescribed for:

• Prevention of heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients

• Management of acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

• Prevention of clot formation after stent placement or coronary procedures
  It helps maintain proper blood flow and reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events.

How it Works:

• Aspirin inhibits platelet aggregation by blocking thromboxane production.

• Clopidogrel prevents platelets from sticking together.
  Together, they provide enhanced antiplatelet activity, reducing the risk of clot formation more effectively than either drug alone.

Dosage:
Take the capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily.

How to Use:
Swallow the capsule whole with water. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.

Precautions:

• Avoid use if you have active bleeding, peptic ulcer, or allergy to aspirin or clopidogrel

• Use cautiously in patients with liver or kidney disease, bleeding disorders, or history of gastrointestinal bleeding

• Do not stop taking the medicine abruptly without medical advice

• Regular monitoring of bleeding risk and platelet function is recommended

Side Effects:
Common side effects include bleeding, bruising, stomach upset, or mild headache. Rarely, serious side effects such as severe bleeding, allergic reactions, or low platelet count may occur. Seek medical attention immediately if severe.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
