Description

CTD-L 12.5/50 Tablet is a combination of Losartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and Chlorthalidone, a thiazide-like diuretic. It is primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and reduce fluid retention (edema). This combination works by relaxing blood vessels and removing excess fluid from the body, helping to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.

Dosage & How to Use:

• Usually taken once daily, with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

• Dosage may vary based on the patient’s condition, age, and response. Always follow the doctor’s instructions.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, heart problems, gout, or electrolyte imbalance.

• Avoid excessive use of salt substitutes containing potassium.
