Description

CTD-MT 6.25/25/40 Tablet ER is a triple combination medicine containing Chlorthalidone (a thiazide-like diuretic), Metoprolol Succinate (a beta-blocker), and Telmisartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker). It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and manage fluid retention (edema). This combination works by reducing excess fluid, slowing the heart rate, and relaxing blood vessels, providing effective blood pressure control and lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.

Dosage & How to Use:

• Usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning with or without food.

• Swallow the extended-release tablet whole, do not crush or chew.

• Dosage may vary depending on the patient’s condition, age, and response. Follow the doctor’s instructions.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have heart failure, asthma, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, or electrolyte imbalance.

• Do not stop the medicine suddenly; this can worsen heart or blood pressure problems.
