Dosage:

  • Dosage depends on patient’s blood sugar levels and doctor’s prescription.

  • Typically, 1 tablet daily with meals or as directed.

  • Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew.

Precautions:

  • Avoid if allergic to Glibenclamide, Metformin, or other sulfonylureas/biguanides.

  • Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver problems, heart disease, or metabolic acidosis.

  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

  • Inform your doctor about all medications and supplements to prevent interactions.

  • Regularly monitor fasting and postprandial blood glucose as advised.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include:

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach upset

  • Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) causing dizziness, sweating, or shakiness

  • Rare allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling
