Description

ETHORED-TX contains Etamsylate and Tranexamic Acid (each 250 mg) combined in a single alu-alu tablet. This dual-action hemostatic preparation is used for treatment and prevention of excessive bleeding caused by various medical and surgical conditions.

How ETHORED-TX Works

  • Etamsylate: Increases capillary strength and platelet adhesion, promoting the formation of blood clots. It helps stabilize blood vessel walls and limits bleeding, especially from small vessels.

  • Tranexamic Acid: An antifibrinolytic agent that blocks the action of plasminogen, thereby preventing breakdown of already formed clots. This stabilizes the clot and maintains hemostasis by inhibiting fibrinolysis.

Uses of ETHORED-TX

  • Treatment and prevention of heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia).

  • Control of bleeding during and after surgery, dental or orthopaedic procedures.

  • Management of traumatic bleeding, postpartum bleeding, nosebleeds, gastrointestinal bleeding, and other acute or recurrent bleeding episodes.

Benefits

  • Provides rapid dual action for effective control of acute and chronic bleeding.

  • Reduces bleeding amount and duration in high-risk patients.

  • Suitable for both surgical and medical bleeding situations.

Common Side Effects

  • Nausea, headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dizziness, skin rash.

  • Rare: hypotension, allergic reaction, visual changes, muscle pain.

Directions for Use and Precautions

  • Take as prescribed—usually with or after food.

  • Use with caution in kidney or liver dysfunction, thrombosis risk, or if pregnant/breastfeeding

  • Not to be used in porphyria or history of convulsions (for tranexamic acid)

  • Inform doctor of all medicines and medical history before initiation.

ETHORED-TX is a prescription hemostatic tablet, offering enhanced and fast-acting bleeding control—utilize only under medical supervision.
