Description

FEBUVEL-40 contains Febuxostat 40 mg, supplied in alu-alu tablet packs. Febuxostat is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor indicated for lowering uric acid levels in conditions such as gout and chronic hyperuricemia.

How FEBUVEL-40 Works

Febuxostat blocks the enzyme xanthine oxidase, which is responsible for converting purines into uric acid. By inhibiting this enzyme, febuxostat effectively reduces the formation and concentration of uric acid in the blood, decreasing gout attacks and their severity.
