FEBUVEL-80

Description

FEBUVEL-80 contains Febuxostat 80 mg, supplied in alu-alu tablets. Febuxostat is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor indicated for reducing uric acid levels in patients with gout and chronic hyperuricemia.

How FEBUVEL-80 Works

It selectively inhibits xanthine oxidase, an enzyme involved in the conversion of purines into uric acid. By lowering uric acid production, FEBUVEL-80 prevents the formation of urate crystals in the joints, reducing inflammation and recurrent gout attacks.
