Uses:

Flodart Plus Capsule PR is used for:

• Treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH): Enlarged prostate leading to urinary symptoms

• Helps relieve:

  • Difficulty in urination

  • Weak urine stream

  • Frequent urination, especially at night

  • Urgency and incomplete bladder emptying

• Reduces risk of BPH-related complications, such as urinary retention

How It Works:

• Tamsulosin (0.4mg): An alpha-blocker that relaxes muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow.

• Dutasteride (0.5mg): A 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that reduces prostate size by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

• The combination provides rapid symptom relief (Tamsulosin) and long-term reduction in prostate volume (Dutasteride).

Dosage & Administration:

• Typically taken once daily, preferably after the same meal each day.

• Swallow the capsule whole, do not crush or chew.
