Description

FORAcort Forte Inhaler is a combination inhalation medicine used for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles for easier breathing, and Budesonide, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and swelling in the lungs. Regular use helps control symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing, improving overall respiratory function.

Uses:

• Long-term treatment and prevention of asthma symptoms

• Management of COPD to prevent flare-ups and improve lung function

• Reduces airway inflammation and enhances breathing capacity

How to Use:
Shake the inhaler well before use. Exhale fully, then place the mouthpiece in your mouth and press the inhaler once while inhaling deeply and slowly. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds before exhaling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with water after each use to prevent oral fungal infections. Use the inhaler at the same time daily or as directed by your doctor.

Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is 1–2 puffs twice daily, depending on the severity of symptoms and your doctor’s advice. Do not exceed the prescribed dose and do not stop treatment suddenly without consulting your physician.

Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, liver disorders, or tuberculosis. Not intended for emergency relief of acute asthma attacks — keep a rescue inhaler handy. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision.

Side Effects:
Common side effects may include throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, headache, nausea, tremors, and oral thrush (fungal infection). Rinsing the mouth after each use reduces these effects. Seek immediate medical help if you experience chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or worsening breathing difficulty.
