Description
Fullform 200 Rotacap is a combination inhalation medicine used to manage and prevent symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps in easing breathing by reducing airway inflammation and relaxing the muscles in the lungs, thus preventing wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.
Uses:
Used in the long-term treatment and management of asthma and COPD. It helps reduce airway inflammation, prevent bronchospasm, and improve lung function.
How to Use:
Use the Rotacap only with a Rotahaler device. Do not swallow the capsule. Place it in the Rotahaler and inhale deeply through the mouth. Hold your breath for a few seconds and then exhale. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and rinse your mouth after inhalation to avoid throat irritation or infection.
Dosage:
The dosage depends on the patient’s age, medical condition, and severity of symptoms. Usually, one or two Rotacaps are inhaled twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Do not stop using this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.
Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems, or liver disorders. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid abrupt discontinuation and always keep a rescue inhaler handy for sudden attacks.
Side Effects:
Common side effects may include throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, headache, nausea, and fungal infections in the mouth (oral thrush). Rinse your mouth after each use to minimize these effects. Seek medical help if you experience chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or worsening breathing difficulty.
