Description
Fullform 200mcg/6mcg Inhaler is a combination inhalation medicine used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Beclometasone helps reduce inflammation and swelling in the airways, while Formoterol relaxes the muscles in the lungs to make breathing easier and prevent asthma attacks.
Uses:
Used in the long-term management and prevention of asthma and COPD symptoms such as wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and persistent cough. It helps maintain open airways and improve overall lung function when used regularly.
How to Use:
Use the inhaler exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Shake the inhaler well before each use. Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and press the inhaler once while inhaling deeply. Hold your breath for a few seconds and then exhale slowly. Always rinse your mouth with water after using the inhaler to prevent throat irritation or fungal infection.
Dosage:
The dosage depends on the severity of the respiratory condition and your doctor’s recommendation. Typically, one or two puffs are taken twice daily. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or discontinue use without consulting your healthcare provider.
Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have a history of tuberculosis, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or liver disease. Use with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding. This medicine is not intended for sudden asthma attacks — keep a rescue inhaler available for emergencies.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, headache, nausea, and fungal infection in the mouth (oral thrush). Rinsing your mouth after every use helps prevent these effects. Seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or worsening breathing difficulty.
