Description

FUNGISET-150 contains Fluconazole 150 mg, a systemic antifungal medication. Fluconazole is used to treat a variety of superficial and systemic fungal infections affecting the mouth, throat, vagina, skin, nails, and internal organs.

How FUNGISET-150 Works

Fluconazole inhibits the fungal enzyme required for ergosterol synthesis, disrupting the fungal cell membrane and preventing the growth and multiplication of fungi. This action kills or stops the spread of susceptible fungal organisms.

• Vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)

• Oral thrush (candidiasis of mouth/throat)

• Esophageal candidiasis

• Cryptococcal meningitis

• Fungal urinary tract infections, peritonitis, and candida infections of blood or body organs

• Tinea infections (skin), fungal nail infections

• Prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients (e.g., HIV/AIDS, bone marrow transplant).
