Description
Uses:
IROvel 150 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and to protect the kidneys in patients with type 2 diabetes who have high blood pressure. By lowering blood pressure, it helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney damage.
Dosage:
The usual recommended dose is one tablet (150mg) once daily, with or without food. Depending on the patient’s condition, the doctor may increase the dose up to 300mg per day. Always follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage.
How to Use:
Take the tablet orally with a glass of water, preferably at the same time each day. It may be taken with or without food. Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.
Precaution:

Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver problems, or heart conditions.

Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it may further lower blood pressure.

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Regular monitoring of blood pressure and kidney function is advised during treatment.

Do not use with aliskiren in diabetic patients due to risk of kidney issues.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, low blood pressure, and nausea. Rarely, muscle cramps, high potassium levels, or impaired kidney function may occur. Seek medical help if you experience swelling of the face, lips, or throat, difficulty in breathing, or fainting.
