Lasix Injection

Description

Lasix Injection is a prescription medicine manufactured by Sanofi India Ltd. It contains Furosemide (10mg/ml), a loop diuretic used for rapid removal of excess fluid from the body. This injectable form is used when oral administration is not feasible or when fast action is required, such as in severe edema or acute heart failure.

Furosemide works by increasing urine output, which helps reduce swelling (edema), relieve fluid overload, and lower blood pressure in urgent situations. The injection is administered under medical supervision, typically in a hospital or clinical setting.

Uses

• Rapid reduction of fluid retention (edema) caused by heart, liver, or kidney conditions
