Description
Levolin 50mcg Inhaler is a bronchodilator used for the treatment and prevention of breathing difficulties in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchospasm. It relaxes the airway muscles, opens the air passages, and makes breathing easier.
Uses:
Used in the treatment of asthma, COPD, chronic bronchitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm. It helps relieve symptoms like wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing.
How to Use:
Use the inhaler exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Shake well before each use. Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and press the inhaler once while breathing in deeply. Hold your breath for a few seconds and then breathe out slowly. Rinse your mouth after use to prevent throat irritation.
Dosage:
The dosage depends on the severity of the condition and the patient’s response to treatment. Typically, adults are advised 1–2 puffs every 6 hours or as directed by the physician. Do not exceed the recommended number of doses.
Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, or seizures. Use with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use this inhaler to treat sudden severe asthma attacks unless advised by your doctor.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include tremors, headache, nervousness, throat irritation, muscle cramps, or fast heartbeat. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, severe dizziness, or difficulty breathing after use.
