Uses:
Macorate CR 400 Tablet is used in the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder. It helps in controlling seizures, stabilizing mood, and preventing extreme mood swings. It may also be prescribed for migraine prevention in some cases.

Dosage:
The dose varies depending on the condition and patient’s response. For adults, the typical dose is individualized and adjusted gradually by the doctor. Macorate CR (controlled release) tablets are usually taken once or twice daily.

How to Use:

• Take orally with a glass of water, preferably after meals.

• Swallow whole; do not crush or chew the CR tablet.

• Take at the same time(s) daily for consistent results.

Precautions:

• Regular monitoring of liver function and blood counts is necessary.

• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, pancreas problems, or a history of bleeding disorders.

• Avoid alcohol as it may increase drowsiness and risk of liver damage.

Side Effects:

• Common: Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach pain

• Less common: Weight gain, tremors, hair loss, changes in appetite

• Rare but serious: Liver damage, pancreatitis, low platelet count, severe allergic reaction
