Uses:
Mesacol OD Tablet PR is used for the treatment and maintenance of remission in ulcerative colitis and other inflammatory bowel diseases. Mesalazine (5-aminosalicylic acid) helps reduce inflammation in the intestines, relieve abdominal pain, diarrhea, and rectal bleeding. The PR (prolonged-release) formulation ensures a steady release of medication for once-daily dosing.

Dosage:
The dosage is prescribed by a doctor based on the severity of the condition. Typically, one tablet once daily or as directed by the healthcare professional.

How to Use:

• Take orally with water, preferably after meals.

• Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew, as it is a prolonged-release formulation.

• Take at the same time each day for consistent effect.
