Description

Uses:

• Used to prevent angina (chest pain) caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

• Relaxes and widens blood vessels, allowing easier blood flow.

• Reduces the workload on the heart and prevents episodes of chest tightness.

• Not for emergency relief of acute chest pain.

Dosage:

• Usually one tablet once or twice daily, as advised by the doctor.

• Maintain fixed timing every day.

• Do not suddenly stop the medicine; dose needs gradual reduction.

How to Use:

• Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.

• Take on an empty stomach or as directed.

• If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless near next dose—do not double dose.

Precautions:

• Avoid if you have severe anemia, low blood pressure, or recent heart attack.

• Do NOT use with sildenafil, tadalafil, or other erectile dysfunction medicines—may cause dangerous drop in blood pressure.

• Inform doctor if you have liver disease, kidney problems, or glaucoma.

• Avoid alcohol—it increases risk of dizziness and low blood pressure.

Side Effects:

• Common: Headache (very common), dizziness, low blood pressure, weakness.

• Sometimes: Fast heartbeat, flushing, nausea.

• Rare but serious: Fainting, severe hypotension—seek help if symptoms worsen.
