Description

Uses:

• Used to prevent angina (chest pain) due to reduced blood supply to the heart.

• Widens and relaxes blood vessels, improving oxygen supply.

• Reduces strain on the heart and frequency of chest pain episodes.

• Not meant for emergency treatment of sudden chest pain.

Dosage:

• Generally one tablet once or twice daily, as prescribed.

• Maintain a regular dosing schedule.

• Do not stop suddenly without medical guidance.

How to Use:

• Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.

• Preferably take on an empty stomach unless directed otherwise.

• If a dose is missed, take it quickly unless the next dose is near.

• Never double dose.

Precautions:

• Avoid if you have severe anemia, very low blood pressure, or recent heart attack.

• Do NOT take with sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil—dangerous drop in blood pressure may occur.

• Use caution if you have glaucoma, liver/kidney disease, or hypothyroidism.

• Avoid alcohol due to increased dizziness and fainting risk.

Side Effects:

• Very common: Headache (usually improves with continued use).

• Common: Dizziness, weakness, fast heartbeat, flushing.

• Less common: Nausea, low blood pressure.

• Serious (rare): Fainting, severe hypotension—seek immediate help if symptoms worsen.
