MXL Oral Gel

Description

Overview:
MXL Oral Gel is a topical prescription gel combining Lidocaine, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, and Metronidazole. It provides local anesthesia, antiseptic action, and antimicrobial activity to relieve pain, reduce infection, and promote healing in oral lesions or gum infections.

Uses:

• Relief from oral pain, mouth ulcers, and gingival irritation

• Prevents and treats bacterial infections in the oral cavity

• Supports healing after dental procedures or minor oral injuries

• Reduces inflammation and discomfort in gums and oral mucosa

Dosage / How to Use:

• Apply a small amount directly to the affected area 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed by a doctor

• Avoid swallowing large amounts

• Do not apply on open wounds beyond oral lesions unless advised

Side Effects:

• Temporary numbness in the mouth due to Lidocaine

• Mild irritation or burning sensation at application site

• Rare: Allergic reactions, swelling, or rash

Precautions:

• Avoid use in patients allergic to Lidocaine, Chlorhexidine, or Metronidazole

• Not for use in children under 2 years without medical advice
