Description

Natrise 15 Tablet is a prescription medicine containing Tolvaptan (15mg), a vasopressin V2-receptor antagonist. It is primarily used to treat low blood sodium levels (hyponatremia) in patients with conditions like heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuretic Hormone Secretion (SIADH). Tolvaptan works by helping the kidneys remove excess water while retaining sodium, restoring a healthy balance of fluids in the body.

Uses:

• Treatment of hyponatremia (low sodium levels)

• Management of SIADH

• Patients with heart failure or liver disease associated with low sodium

• Sometimes used in polycystic kidney disease (as per doctor’s guidance)

How to Use:

• Take the tablet orally with or without food, at the same time each day.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding fluid intake and dosage.

• Do not crush or chew; swallow whole with water.

Dosage:

• Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your medical condition and serum sodium levels.

• Do not adjust or stop the dose without medical supervision.
