Description

Netazox Tablet contains Nitazoxanide (500mg), an antiprotozoal and broad-spectrum antiparasitic medicine. It works by interfering with the energy production process of parasites and protozoa, which leads to their death and helps clear infections from the intestine.

Uses / Indications:

  • Acute diarrhea caused by protozoa such as Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium parvum

  • Intestinal amoebiasis and other amoebic infections

  • Helminthic infections (roundworms, pinworms, tapeworms, hookworms)

  • Mixed parasitic infections

  • Supportive treatment in immunocompromised patients suffering from protozoal diarrhea

Benefits:

  • Provides fast relief from parasitic diarrhea

  • Helps restore digestive balance and improves gut health

  • Reduces the risk of chronic or recurrent infections

  • Suitable for adults and older children when prescribed

How to Use:

  • Take orally with food to improve absorption.

  • Swallow whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.

  • Follow the exact dose and duration prescribed by the physician.

  • Do not stop the medicine early, even if symptoms improve, as it may cause infection relapse.

Precautions:

  • Use cautiously in patients with liver or kidney disorders.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should take only if recommended by a doctor.

  • Inform your doctor about any history of allergy to antiparasitic medicines.

  • Avoid alcohol during the course, as it may worsen side effects like stomach upset or dizziness.
