Nicip DS Tablet

Description

Nicip DS Tablet is the double-strength formulation of Nicip, containing Nimesulide 200 mg. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for short-term relief of pain, fever, and inflammation. Being a stronger dose, it provides faster and more effective relief in moderate to severe pain conditions, especially when lower doses are not sufficient.

Uses

Nicip DS is commonly prescribed for:

• Acute pain management (muscle and joint pain)

• Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other joint disorders

• Back pain, sprains, and strains

• Headache and migraine attacks

• Post-operative pain

• Menstrual cramps (Dysmenorrhea)

• Fever (when conventional antipyretics are not effective)

Dosage & Administration

• Usual adult dose: One tablet (200 mg) once daily or as directed by the physician.

• Should be taken after meals to reduce gastric irritation.

• Intended for short-term use only (≤ 15 days).

• Not recommended in children below 12 years.

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

• Indigestion, abdominal pain
