Description
Oflomac IV 200mg Infusion contains Ofloxacin (200mg), a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the fluoroquinolone class. It is given intravenously (IV) in hospitals or clinical settings to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections when oral administration is not possible or when faster action is required.
This medicine works by inhibiting bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which are vital for bacterial replication and repair. As a result, it stops the growth and spread of infection-causing bacteria.
