Oxetol 600 Tablet

Description

Oxetol 600 Tablet contains Oxcarbazepine (600mg), an anticonvulsant medicine used in the treatment of epilepsy. It helps control and prevent seizures (fits) by stabilizing abnormal electrical activity in the brain. This medicine is usually prescribed alone or in combination with other anti-epileptic drugs.

Uses:

• Treatment of epilepsy (partial seizures, generalized seizures)

• Helps in reducing frequency and severity of seizures

How to Use:
Take the tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew. Dosage depends on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Dosage:
The dose is individualized. Usually started at a lower dose and gradually increased as per doctor’s advice. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your physician.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems.

• May cause dizziness or drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

• Avoid alcohol as it can worsen side effects.
