Description

Pentids 800 Tablet is a high-strength antibiotic containing Penicillin G, a natural penicillin widely used to treat bacterial infections. It works by disrupting the formation of bacterial cell walls, causing bacteria to die and helping the body overcome infections. This higher-strength formulation is typically prescribed for more severe or persistent infections caused by penicillin-sensitive bacteria.

Uses / Indications:

• Severe respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Rheumatic fever prophylaxis

• Diphtheria and anthrax (in specific cases)

• Syphilis and other bacterial infections sensitive to Penicillin G

• Streptococcal infections

Dosage & Administration:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

• Usually administered orally with water, preferably on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals) for optimal absorption.

• Complete the full course, even if symptoms improve, to prevent bacterial resistance.

Possible Side Effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

• Skin rash, itching, or hives (allergic reactions)

• Stomach upset or abdominal discomfort

• Rare but severe: anaphylaxis (life-threatening allergic reaction), seizures (at very high doses), or Clostridium difficile–associated diarrhea
