Prodep 10 Capsule

Description

Prodep 10 Capsule contains Fluoxetine (10mg), a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It works by increasing serotonin levels in the brain, helping improve mood, reduce anxiety, and alleviate compulsive behaviors.

Uses:

• Management of depression

• Treatment of anxiety disorders and panic attacks

• Management of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)

• Supportive therapy in combination with psychotherapy

How to Use:
Take the capsule as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily, with or without food. Swallow whole with water.

Dosage:
Dosage is individualized based on condition, age, and response to treatment. Do not alter the dose without consulting your doctor.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have a history of bipolar disorder, seizures, or liver/kidney problems.

• Avoid sudden discontinuation to prevent withdrawal symptoms.

• Use cautiously with other antidepressants or MAO inhibitors.

• It may take a few weeks to notice full therapeutic effects.

Side Effects:

• Nausea, headache, or dizziness

• Sleep disturbances (insomnia or drowsiness)

• Dry mouth or decreased appetite

• Rare: serotonin syndrome, abnormal bleeding, or mood changes
