Description

Prolomet XL 25 Tablet contains Metoprolol Succinate (23.75mg), a beta-blocker medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), chest pain (angina), heart rhythm disorders, and heart failure. It works by blocking stress hormones (like adrenaline) on the heart, which slows the heartbeat, reduces blood pressure, and decreases the workload on the heart. This helps lower the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular complications.

Uses:

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Relief and prevention of chest pain (angina)

• Control of irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias)

• Treatment of heart failure

• Prevention of heart attack recurrence

How to Use:
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take it at the same time every day, with or without food.

Dosage:
Follow your doctor’s dosage instructions. Do not skip or stop suddenly as it may worsen heart problems.

Precautions:

• Inform your doctor if you have asthma, low blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, or liver disease.
