Description

Resteclin 250 Capsule is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Tetracycline, used for treating various bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, stopping their growth, and helping the body fight infection. This medicine is generally prescribed for moderate to severe infections caused by tetracycline-sensitive bacteria.

Uses / Indications:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Skin and soft tissue infections (acne, boils)

• Urinary tract infections

• Certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

• Other infections caused by susceptible bacteria

Dosage & Administration:

• Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Usually administered orally with a full glass of water.

• Take on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals) for better absorption.

• Complete the full course of therapy even if symptoms improve early, to prevent bacterial resistance.

Possible Side Effects:

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort

• Photosensitivity (skin may become sensitive to sunlight)
