Description

Rozavel EZ Tablet is a prescription lipid-lowering medication that combines Rosuvastatin (10mg) and Ezetimibe (10mg) to effectively manage high cholesterol levels. This dual-action formula targets cholesterol production and absorption, providing comprehensive control over lipid levels in the blood. It is used to lower “bad” cholesterol (LDL), reduce triglycerides, and increase “good” cholesterol (HDL), thus lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular diseases.

Rosuvastatin belongs to the class of drugs called statins, which work by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme in the liver to decrease cholesterol synthesis.
Ezetimibe, on the other hand, works in the intestines by reducing the absorption of cholesterol from food. Together, they provide a synergistic effect for superior cholesterol management compared to single-drug therapy.
