Description

Seroflo 250 Rotacap is a combination medicine used for the long-term treatment and prevention of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Salmeterol, a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles for better airflow, and Fluticasone Propionate, a corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation and prevents asthma attacks. Together, they help improve breathing and reduce symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.

Uses:
Used in the maintenance treatment of asthma and COPD. It helps prevent airway inflammation, bronchospasm, and breathing difficulty when used regularly.

How to Use:
Use the Rotacap only with a Rotahaler device. Do not swallow the capsule. Insert one Rotacap into the Rotahaler, twist, and inhale deeply through your mouth. Hold your breath for a few seconds and then exhale slowly. Rinse your mouth after inhalation to prevent throat irritation or fungal infection.

Dosage:
The dosage depends on the patient’s age, condition, and response to treatment. Generally, one Rotacap is inhaled twice daily or as directed by your doctor. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or stop using it suddenly without medical advice.

Precautions:
Inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid issues, diabetes, or liver disorders. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This medicine is not a rescue medication and should not be used for sudden asthma attacks.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include throat irritation, hoarseness, cough, headache, nausea, and oral fungal infection (thrush). Rinse your mouth thoroughly after each use to reduce side effects. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or worsening breathing problems.
