Description

SitaXA D 10mg/50mg Tablet is a combination anti-diabetic medicine containing Dapagliflozin and Sitagliptin. Dapagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that reduces blood glucose by promoting glucose excretion through urine. Sitagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin hormone activity, stimulating insulin release and reducing post-meal glucose production.
This combination is used for adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus when diet, exercise, or monotherapy alone does not achieve adequate glycemic control.
