Solvin Cold Syrup

Description

Uses:

• Relieves symptoms of common cold in children

• Reduces runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes (Chlorpheniramine – antihistamine)

• Controls fever and reduces body aches (Paracetamol)

• Relieves nasal blockage and sinus congestion (Phenylephrine – decongestant)

Dosage:

• Dose depends on child’s age and weight

• Use only the measuring cup/syringe provided

• Do not exceed the recommended paracetamol dose

• Give at intervals advised by the pediatrician

How to Use:

• Shake the bottle well before each dose

• Can be given after food to avoid stomach upset

Precautions:

• May cause drowsiness—avoid activities requiring alertness

• Inform the doctor if the child has heart disease, hypertension, thyroid issues, or glaucoma

• Avoid giving with other paracetamol-containing products

• Use during pregnancy/breastfeeding (for mothers) only on medical advice

Side Effects:

• Rare: allergic reactions, difficulty urinating
