Description

Suminat 50 Tablet contains Sumatriptan (50mg), a medicine used to relieve acute migraine attacks. It belongs to the class of drugs known as triptans, which act on serotonin (5-HT) receptors in the brain to reduce inflammation and constrict blood vessels, providing quick relief from migraine symptoms such as headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light or sound. It is used for treatment, not prevention, of migraine.

Uses:

• Provides relief from acute migraine attacks

• Reduces headache intensity and related symptoms like nausea and photophobia

• Helps restore normal routine during a migraine episode

Dosage & How to Use:

• Take as soon as migraine symptoms begin

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water

• Do not exceed 200mg in 24 hours unless advised by a doctor

• If symptoms persist after the first dose, consult your doctor before taking another

Precautions:

• Avoid if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, or history of stroke
