Description

Telgard-H Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medicine manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It contains Telmisartan 40mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg.

• Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes and widens blood vessels to lower blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that reduces excess salt and water in the body, further aiding in blood pressure control.

This combination provides enhanced blood pressure reduction and is particularly useful for patients whose hypertension is not sufficiently controlled with a single medication. It also helps protect the heart, brain, and kidneys from complications associated with high blood pressure.
