Main use: Treats high blood pressure (hypertension)

Helps protect the heart, lowers risk of heart attack & stroke

Telmisartan: relaxes blood vessels

Metoprolol: lowers heart rate, reduces heart’s workload
Dosage

Usually 1 tablet once daily, as advised by doctor

ER (extended-release) → Swallow whole, do not crush/chew

Take at the same time every day
How to Use

Can be taken with or without food

Continue even if BP becomes normal

Monitor BP and heart rate regularly
Precautions

Avoid during pregnancy

Caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes, thyroid disorders, kidney or liver disease
-
Do not stop suddenly → may cause rapid heart rate or rise in BP
-
Tell doctor if using: antidepressants, other BP meds, NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen), digoxin, asthma medicines

Common:

Slow heartbeat

Dizziness

Fatigue

Cold hands/feet

Low blood pressure
Less common:

Shortness of breath

Swelling
-
Sleep problems
-
Depression (rare)
Seek help if you experience severe dizziness, fainting, or breathing difficulty.
