Description

Uses

• Main use: Controls high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Triple combination for stronger BP control

• Telmisartan: relaxes blood vessels

• Cilnidipine: calcium-channel blocker that reduces pressure & protects heart

• Chlorthalidone: diuretic that removes excess salt & water

Dosage

• Usually 1 tablet once daily, as prescribed

• Take at the same time each day

• Do not stop medicine without doctor approval

How to Use

• Swallow with water

• Can be taken with or without food

• Continue even if you feel fine

• Monitor BP regularly

Precautions

• Avoid in pregnancy

• Use with caution in kidney disease, liver disease, dehydration

• Inform doctor if taking: other BP medicines, diuretics, NSAIDs (ibuprofen), lithium

• May increase urination due to chlorthalidone

• Cilnidipine may cause mild swelling in legs

Side Effects

Common:

• Dizziness

• Tiredness

• Increased urination

• Swelling in feet

• Low blood pressure

Less common:

• Muscle cramps

• Electrolyte imbalance (low sodium/potassium)

• Headache

• Flushing

Seek medical help if you feel severe dizziness, swelling, or breathing difficulty.
