Description

TELSite 40mg Tablet is a prescription medicine manufactured by Sanofi India Ltd. It contains Telmisartan (40mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) used to manage hypertension. Telmisartan works by relaxing blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure, improves blood flow, and reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney complications.

This strength is often prescribed for adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with lower doses. It may also be used to protect kidney function in patients with type 2 diabetes or other risk factors for kidney disease.
